Product Blocks
Do you want to show products from your webshop in your newsletter? Use a product block. This block automatically displays product details in a pre-designed layout.
The content of a product block is loaded from a product feed. A product feed is a file that lists your products, including attributes such as the name, price, and link to the product. This file is usually available in XML or JSON format and is designed to share product information easily with other systems, such as advertising platforms or newsletter tools like Inboxify.
Many webshop platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or Lightspeed include built-in options to generate a product feed or add one via a plugin.
Adding a product feed
You can add a product feed to Inboxify through the settings:
- Log in to your Inboxify account
- Click your username in the top right and select Settings
- In the menu on the left, click Editor
- Scroll down to Product feeds
- Click Add product feed
Once added, the product feed will appear in an overview. Here you can enable or disable the feed, import products into Inboxify, edit or delete the feed, and see when the last successful import took place and how many products were imported.
Adding a product block to your newsletter
After importing the products from your feed into Inboxify, you can use them in the editor:
- Open your newsletter in the drag-and-drop editor
- Drag the product block to the desired position in your design
- Click the product block you added. The product block settings panel will open
- Scroll up to Select product and choose the feed and product you want to display
After selecting the product, you can adjust the layout and styling of the block in the settings. You can also choose which fields to display or hide.
