Sending your newsletter
Once you've reviewed the content of your newsletter, it's time to choose who you want to send it to and when. From the designer, click the Send link to go to the send page.
Next, under Send to list, select the list you want to send your newsletter to. Under Number of selected contacts you'll immediately see how many unique contacts you've selected.
If you use tags, they'll appear under Filter by tags once you've selected your list. You can add a tag to the filter by clicking it. Under Filter method, you indicate whether contacts must contain all selected tags ("And") or at least one of the selected tags ("Or").
Under Other filters you can optionally filter by gender, creation date, postal code or the custom date field.
You can send your newsletter immediately, or you can choose a later time. In that case the newsletter will be sent at or within a few minutes of the chosen time.
Gradual sending
For larger lists it can be desirable to send your newsletter gradually over a longer period rather than all at once. This is useful, for example, when you're running a promotion or special offer and want to avoid all your recipients arriving on your website at the same time. It can also help when you're just starting to send from a new sender address or domain, by gradually building up your reputation with receiving mail servers.
To do this, enable the Gradual sending option and choose how long the send should take, for example 1 hour, 4 hours or 24 hours. Inboxify will then automatically calculate the right pace so that your newsletter is sent evenly across the chosen period. The option only applies to campaigns with more than 100 selected contacts.
On the campaigns page you can follow along to see how many recipients have already been reached. If you want to stop the send midway, you can do so via the menu next to the campaign; the campaign will then receive the Partially sent status.
